Cold brew doesn't ask much of you — just a little patience and a place in the fridge. Set it up before bed, wake up to something smooth, low-acid, and ready to pour. The slowest coffee you'll ever love.
All You Need
- Brew time 8–10 hours
- Grind size Medium-coarse
- Coffee dose 60 g
- Water amount 700 ml
Tools
- Jar or pitcher
- Fine strainer or filter paper
- Digital scale
- Spoon or stirrer
Brew Method
1
Grind 50–60g of coffee to a medium-coarse setting — closer to sea salt in texture.
2
Add the grounds into your jar or pitcher.
3
Pour in 700ml of cold, filtered water. Stir gently until all grounds are fully saturated.
4
Cover or seal the jar. Place it in the fridge and let it steep for 8–12 hours — overnight works perfectly.
5
Once steeped, pour the brew slowly through a fine strainer or filter paper to remove all grounds.
6
Pour over ice and serve as is, or dilute slightly with water or milk to taste.
