Pour Over Coffee

There's a rhythm to pour-over that's hard to explain until you've felt it. The slow circles, the bloom, the steady drip — it's less of a chore and more of a morning ritual you'll actually look forward to.

All You Need

  • Brew time 3–4 minutes
  • Grind size Medium (14–15 EK)
  • Coffee dose 25 g
  • Water amount 375 ml

Tools

  • Pour-over dripper
  • Gooseneck kettle
  • Filter paper
  • Digital scale
  • Timer
  • Server or cup

Brew Method

1 Rinse the filter paper with hot water and discard the rinse water — this removes any paper taste and preheats your dripper.
2 Add 25g of ground coffee into the filter. Gently tap to level the surface.
3 Start your timer. Pour 50ml of water in slow circles from center outward. Let it bloom for 45 seconds to release trapped gases.
4 Resume pouring the remaining 325ml steadily in slow, controlled circles — no rushing, let the flavor open up.
5 Let it drip completely through. Total brew time: 3–4 minutes.
6 Serve as is, or add milk, sugar, or ice to taste.
